Matt Cutts: Why is Google Going to Penalize Overly Optimized Sites?

Why is Google Going to Penalize Overly Optimized Sites? Or as others might say “Why is Google going to penalize overly SEO’ed sites?” Spamming the spider bots just to get into Google, you’re out.

It’s another Google shake down… If you listened to a panel with Matt Cutts of Google, Duane Forrester Of Bing hosted by Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Land, you got a real earful just at the very end. Matt Cutts of Google’s own spam team made a huge announcement. “We plan to penalize overly optimized sites”. Totally putting website owners on notice.

Why is Google Going to Penalize Overly Optimized Sites?

It’s simple, a lot of site owners have been spamming the Google’s spiderbots just to get clicks to their site. Nothing wrong with a little extra traffic, right? The fact is, we all have to remember Google wants to send your site new traffic, but Google its users and that is a good “Google Experience” or user experience. They don’t want to send one of their users to a site and not get the what they were looking for. Just because the site had some really good onsite optimization.

What is an Overly Optimized Site?

Well Matt Cutts didn’t let this nugget out of the bag. But I can tell you from experience overly optimized sites come in many styles. Most of these sites have a lot of black hat SEO methods hidden in them. They are about to Get “Google Slammed”.

What Can Be Considered Overly Optimized?

  • Keyword Spamming

  • Title Tag Spamming

  • Meta Description Spamming

  • Meta Keyword Spamming (yes Google says they don’t pay attention)

  • Body Content Spamming (you should keep your body content or keyword density between 3.5% to 5% keyword rich)

  • Not enough content (words) on your page (try to have a minimum of 351 words)

  • Hidden Text (yep they still try to hide the text in the same color as the background)

  • Hidden Text Links

  • Duplicate content on each page

If you think you have, you probably have…

Seriously, if you think you have overly optimized your site, you probably have. The reason I say this is because you shouldn’t really care about why Google is going to penalize you. Just create a nice and good relevant site. Make sure your content is what people are really looking for. Create your content for your users and you will be just fine.

Google does not see SEO as spam. Google, Bing and all the other search engine sites really want you to optimize your site. They want you to make your site search engine friendly so they can send you new visitors. They just want to protect me, you and everybody that uses Google.

Time Warner Santa Clarita – Scam – Ripped Off – Telephone Service Scam

Scam Alert: Time Warner Santa Clarita - Scam - Ripped Off - Telephone Service

Time Warner Santa Clarita – Scam – Ripped Off – Telephone Service Scam

Time Warner Santa Clarita - Scam - Ripped Off - Telephone Service Scam

Time Warner Santa Clarita - Scam - Ripped Off - Telephone Service Scam

Time Warner Santa ClaritaScam – Ripped Off – Telephone Service Scam” Wow, is the only way I can start this! I know the title is rough “Time Warner Santa Clarita – Scam – Ripped Off – Telephone Service Scam” but it is really the way I “FEEL”. Maybe I should have started it something like “Time Warner Scam” But this really was a local problem or at least ended as a local Santa Clarita problem.  The total lack of customer service… Or customer care.

Time Warner Santa ClaritaSo let me start with a little background where this all started. I am a resident here in beautiful Santa Clarita, CA.  Last August I move to a new condo here in Santa Clarita. When it was time to choose my cable and internet provider, I decided to go with Time Warner. I had heard some really good things about the Road Runner Internet Service. Originally I wanted the FIOS Internet Service, but it wasn’t available in my area. Anyway, needless to say I went with Time Warner Cable.  So about a month after I moved in, I got a call asking me if I would like home telephone service from Time Warner.

I ask simple multiple questions in multiple ways:

Me: “is this a digital phone or is it a hard line phone?” Time Warner: “no, its a hardline”

Me: “is this a modem phone that just runs through the internet” Time Warner: “no”

Me: “are you sure this is a hard line phone and not an internet phone” Time Warner: “no”

You see I didn’t want internet telephone service, I wanted a hard line in my condo. Fine, I said yes I will sign up for Time Warner telephone service.  So about a week or so goes by and there’s FedEx at the door with my new Time Warner Telephone Service, “in a box”.  Now keep in mind Time Warner told me I would receive a package and all I had to do was plug my new phone in my regular phone jacks and activate it… Wrong!

The Time Warner Santa Clarita Scam…

Well I will admit, I was excited getting my package… I opened the box and “BAM”… “A Damn Digital Phone”.  I was so disgusted…  I mean really, I was just pissed! I was so mad I just put the box on the shelf and forgot about it. What can I say, I felt that Time Warner Scammed me, I felt violated, I felt my intelligence was just insulted.

OK, Back to Time Warner Santa Clarita…

Recently my modem went out… “God No Internet!” So I had called Time Warner and they said they were doing work in the area and I knew this was true.  Two days before I got a call saying that my service would be temporarily out because they were working on it. But, the service never returned.  Time Warner support said there was a problem with my Internet Modem and they would have to send somebody out in like two days… I can’t go without internet for two day, let alone one day. So support gave me another option, “go to the Time Warner Office in Santa Clarita”.  Sounds great! It was a lot closer than I had thought, plus I was teaching a class that night less than 1/2 a mile from their local office that night, bonus.

At Time Warner Santa Clarita…

So I go into the office and I meet this kid named “Justin”.  He was a lot of help.  I handed Justin my broken modem and he handed me a new one, “Bam, Nice And Simple”.  It was so simple I had extra time.  So I got to telling Justin story about the whole Time Warner Telephone Service Scam, his answer was to just bring it into the store and drop it off.  Awesome idea! And I did just that…

My Experience at the Time Warner Santa Clarita office…

OMG It's a Scam Alert - Time Warner Santa Clarita - Big Box Of SCAM

OMG It's a Scam Alert - Time Warner Santa Clarita - Big Box Of SCAM

Wow! This is where Time Warner just lost all my respect.  Justin was there again at the local Time Warner Office in Santa Clarita.  I gave him my box and he took it.  He was very pleasant, treated it as no big problem.  So I asked him when would I get my refund all the money I have been paying or a credit for the service that I have never used. He said he couldn’t do refunds or account adjustments.  He explained to me that I would have to write to the “office of the president”, REALLY?! What the heck is that?

OK, Get me a Manager…

So I asked Justin to get me a manager, I need to straighten this out before more time goes by… OMG, here comes Donna… WOW, this chick was rude from the get go! With her head bobbing back and forth and inability to look me in the eyes, just wasn’t cool.  Maybe there was something wrong with her I don’t know.

Donna Just Didn’t Care… And she was RUDE!

Seriously Donna just did not care about my problem and was going to do absolutely nothing to help me and she made that clear! It’s not even worth going into detail about how rude of a person she is. Some people should not be in customer service and some people should not be a manager… Donna should have not been either.  Totally lack of customer service skills and a desire to help.

Now The Call To Time Warner Billing

WOW! What an eye opener… I have to admit, everything that happened at the local Time Warner office, didn’t compare to what happen next.  So I called Time Warner as I was driving off. Stayed on hold for awhile… a long while… Finally customer support, so I explained my entire experience to this lady who answered the phone… What a waste! “I’m sorry sir, I can’t handle this. I will transfer you to someone who can” and don’t forget… “may I place you on hold”.  Really do I have a choice? No I don’t.

Here Comes The Time Warner Super Bitch… Stephanie!

Nobody tells Stephanie why I’m calling or what my concerns were. I had to completely start over and tell the story again. Have you ever notice, each time you tell the story about something that bothered you or upset you… You just get more pissed off and annoyed… Ugh…

Time Warner Super Bitch… Stephanie!

So I am telling my story all over again and of course it was a long one… As you can tell I am pretty long winded.  The entire time, I am getting the feeling she’s not even listening to me. I finished telling my story and there was silence. I said “are you there”, I could hear her click back over. “Yes, I am here”. So she asked me, what do you want me to do… REALLY? I just told you I want a refund for the service I never used. Stephanie the Super Bitches answer “no I’m not going to do that”. Of course I was shocked, I asked to speak with her supervisor, her reply “No, I am the supervisor and I have made my decision”.  I ask her who is your supervisor? She gave me the name and said she is not going to talk to you. I said why, she’s not available…

Never even looked at my account… WOW!

I asked her to look at my account and see the activity on this phone service. She said “NO, I am not going to”. I asked her if she even looked at my account, she stated “NO, I don’t have to. I made my decision and I am not going to issue a refund.”

We are nothing to Time Warner

I have to honestly admit, I have met some rude people in my life and I am sure you have too. But Donna and the Time Warner super bitch Stephanie top them all! It really just shows you that we are nothing to Time Warner. We are nothing to the Time Warner employees. We are just another dollar in there pocket. That really makes me upset.

Just imagine if…

Seriously, just imagine if Donna at the Time Warner Office in Santa Clarita would have just said. “Hey, I can’t do anything at this very moment and I want to help you.  Let me look into it. Can I call you back”. You would have never been reading my thoughts and feelings. What if Stephanie the Time Warner Super Bitch said the same thing… You would not be here reading this.

Thank God for Free Speech…

You have to know, I have a voice, you have a voice and it is your right to be heard! It is not just your right to be heard but it is your obligation to exercise your voice.  Imagine if our Fore Fathers never said a word, what would are America be today?  We live in a new world where we don’t have to deal with being mistreated by companies only out to make a buck! Or scammed you out of a buck!  Time Warner scammed me into signing up with their home telephone service scam. This is my obligation to let people know what happened.  These are my feelings and I can express them anyway I want! And I will!

So Should You!

By the way before posting this, I did infact send an email to these people.  But they had nothing to say… Or didn’t want to say anything.

Search Engine Optimization Tips for Livermore, CA

Remember, your reading this because this page was optimized by Nine Eye Interactive Media!

Nine Eye Interactive Media offers SEO services through Livermore, CA and the surrounding area. While concentrating on Local SEO for local business. Just like you, we want our company found from people looking for local SEO services. So if your reading this, you might have found this page by typing something like “SEO Livermore, CA” or maybe something like “SEO in Livermore, CA”. Everything about this page was optimize. I optimized the meta tags so search engines would deliver this content to you for what you were searching for. Take a look below at how the Meta Tags were created:

Title Tag:

SEO Livermore, CA – Search Engine Optimization – Livermore, CA

Description Tag:

SEO Livermore, CA – Search Engine Optimization – Livermore, CA – By Nine Eye. An SEO Company offering SEO and SEM services throughout Livermore, CA and the surrounding. Get found locally and Nationally.

Keyword Tag:

SEO Livermore, CA, SEO Company in Livermore, CA, Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, SEO company, SEO Company, SEO Services

Meta tags are extremely important to your Search Engine strategy. Meta tags are like the engine that runs your car. Granted you could in fact rank a page in the search engine without “Meta Tags”. You could easily build a page and start a link building campaign using text links. But the topic here is optimizing a page with onsite optimization and not link building.

Now not only have I used my meta tags correctly, I need to utilize my “H Tags”. H tags are used to define the importance of a page or a page section. They bold the text and increase the font size. “H Tags” generally start as H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6. The H1 tag is usually used to tell search engine the Title of a page and should be used sparingly. Take a look below at how the “H Tags” look.

“H1 Tags” generally look something like this:

SEO Livermore, CA

“H2 Tags” generally look something like this:

SEO in Livermore, CA

“H3 Tags” generally look something like this:

SEO Company in Livermore, CA

“H4 Tags” generally look something like this:

Search Engine Optimization Livermore, CA

“H5 Tags” generally look something like this:

SEO Company

“H6 Tags” generally look something like this:

SEO Services

Matching H Tags

Now I want you to notice how each “H Tag” matches what you find in my “Page Title Tag”, “Description Tag” and “Keyword Tag”. With the exception of two keyword/pharse and that is “SEM Livermore, CA” and “Search Engine Marketing Livermore, CA” (I will touch on this later in the post).  “Keyword Tags” are ignored by most search engines, remember that phrase “Most Search Engines”, not all search engines are Google, Bing and Yahoo. Although I do believe if used correctly Google will recognize “keyword tags”.

Optimizing On page Content

Not only are my “H Tags” matching the “Page Title Tag”, “Description Tag” and “Keyword Tag” they also match what is on my page, meaning the on “Page Content”. Within the Page Content of this page you will find these words:

SEO Livermore, CA, SEO Company in Livermore, CA, Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, SEO Company, SEO Services, SEM, Livermore, CA

These are the exact words I want to rank for. I used these within the content.

SEM Livermore, CA and Search Engine Marketing Livermore, CA don’t match?

SEM Livermore, CA and Search Engine Marketing Livermore, CA don’t match don’t match because I didn’t have any room to add them to my Page Title Tag” and “Description Tag”. Although I was able to fit them into my content just like you’re seeing now. The focus wasn’t so much on “SEM Livermore, CA” and “Search Engine Marketing Livermore, CA” as it was on “SEO Livermore, CA” and “Search Engine Optimization Livermore, CA”.

SEO Livermore, CA - Search Engine Optimization - Livermore, CAI wrote this post to help local Businesses in Livermore, CA rank in the search engines. A lot of times local businesses are struggling to rank in the search engines and can’t afford to hire an SEO Company to do the work for them. So this becomes my way of giving back to the communities that I do work in. With just a little proper onsite optimization most local businesses can rank for their local products and local services. This is mainly due to the fact that there is little competition in the local markets when it comes to Search Engine Optimizing. If you in a competitive market, you will need a lot more than onsite optimization. Although onsite optimization is the beginning to getting your local business found on the internet.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it helps you. And if you’re looking “ SEO Livermore, CA, SEO Company in Livermore, CA, Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, SEO Company, SEO Services, SEM, Livermore, CA” give us a call, I know we can help.

Have Fun,

Title Tag Mistakes and How To Avoid Them – How to write Title Tags?

Title Tag Mistakes and How To Avoid Them - How to write Title Tags?

Title Tag Mistakes and How To Avoid Them – How to write Title Tags?

Title Tag Mistakes and How To Avoid Them - How to write Title Tags?

Title tags are extremely important for several reasons, most important title tags show up in the Search Engines and are the first thing potential new searchers (customers) see.  Title tags show up in the search results as blue hyper links.  I can’t begin to tell you how crucial title tags are to your SEO Search Engine Optimization.  Title tags are not just the first thing people see indicating web searchers have found what they were looking for, but the they are the first thing Search Engines read and begin to score for higher placement.

Title tags should be written to match what is on your page. Remember we are trying to define what our page is about. Think of title tags as the name of a book, you are trying to get consumers to take your book from the shelf.  Now let’s switch gears here, were also trying to get index and placed where people can find our book. Title tags should be written with your keywords that you want to be found for, better yet what people are searching for!

Title Tags are the first thing Search Engine Read

Let’s look at some of the worst ways to optimize your title tags.

Home Page or Home Page in the Title Tag

What a major mistake! How many people are really looking for “Home Page”, better yet your homepage in Google? The answer is they’re not! Don’t waste this valuable real estate to junk keywords that have no benefit to your page.

Title Tags Too Long

70 Characters – Search Engines will only display 70 characters in the search results. So craft your title tags to meet these guidelines if you really care about what you are optimizing.

Title Tags Too Short

Remember, people are looking for a something, a solution, an answer, maybe a way to fix something. Look at how you got to this page. You can’t be very descriptive in one or two words.  You get 70 characters, now use them.

No Keywords in Title Tag

Really…? Look the only way you’re going to get found for your keywords is to display your keywords. You need to use keywords in your title tag that match what is in your page content. Do your best to be descriptive using keywords you know people are searching for.

Irrelevant Title Tags

Irrelevant title tags are a great way to kill all your work.  Think about it, you spent 1, 2 maybe 6 hours on creating a masterpiece and now you’re going to kill it some stupid title tag that has nothing to do with what your page is about… Remember to have relevant title tags. To create a relevant title tag, make sure that you have the same keywords on your page.

Title Tags with your Business Name

This is a yes and no moment. Because I can’t begin to tell you how many businesses can’t be found for their own “Business Name”. Yes you should and must optimize some of your title tags with your business name. No you should not optimize all your pages with your business name.

Title Tags for Local Businesses

If you have a local business, don’t just optimize for your keywords and forget the your city name. People are getting more hip on Local SEO. Look at it this way, if your an SEO Company in Santa Clarita, then say it with something like “SEO Santa Clarita“. Maybe you do business in other cities like Los Angeles, build a new page with new content and title it with something like “SEO Los Angeles“. Google loves local businesses.

Spammy Title Tags Suck

Don’t try to trick anybody and especially the search engines. Look try to use your keywords about two times. Look at the title of this page:

“Title Tag Mistakes and How To Avoid Them – How to write Title Tags?”

Title Tag and Title Tags are not my keywords, but they do help. The keywords are “Title Tag Mistakes” and “How to Write Title Tags

Look whatever you do, remember this one rule. “Your best foot first”. When writing your title tags, keep your best foot first. Take some extra time to write your title tags. If your writing content for new traffic to your website, take a minute to find out what people are really looking for. My favorite too for keyword research is Google. They will tell you what people really want to find.

Beware Of Texting Scams - Texting Scams Are Real

Beware Of Texting Scams! Are Texting Scams Real?

Beware Of Texting Scams - Texting Scams Are Real

Beware Of Texting Scams - Texting Scams Are Real

Your cell phone chimes — a text message has come in. It bears your bank’s name and has some disturbing news. One of your accounts has been frozen. Please call us at the following number to clear this up, urges the message.

You’ve just been “smished”.

Smishing texts are the newest way scam artists can gain personal info.

An offshoot of “phishing

Emails that try to trick you into disclosing personal or financial information — smishing is named for the SMS (short message service) technology used to send text messages. (There’s even another variation, “vishing.” Instead of a text message, you get a call with a recorded voice.)

As more people have gotten wise to computer-based scams, scammers are increasingly targeting cellphones. Their users are three times more likely to fall for fake messages than computer users, according to online security firm Trusteer, iPhone users are the most vulnerable.

When you call the number the text gives you for your bank, you’re actually connecting to the scammers, who ask for your account number, PIN, Social Security number – the raw material of identity theft.

Bogus bank alerts…

Bogus bank alerts lead in smishing attacks. But you may also get texts promising a free laptop, mortgage assistance or lottery winnings. A message may just say, “Short on cash? Reply here!” One new come-on is a supposed free security app to get you to click on a link that in fact downloads identity-stealing software to your phone.

Whatever the method, the goal is the same: to get your personal information and money.

The Federal Trade Commission recently moved against a firm that was allegedly offering phony government loans by text. Five and a half million text messages were sent to cell phones in just 40 days — roughly 85 per minute, according to the commission. This firm also is alleged to have sold the numbers of people who replied asking to be removed from the list.

So here’s your defense:

  • Don’t reply. Even sending a “remove” or “stop” response to a smishing text tells scammers that your number is active, meaning you may get more messages.
  • Don’t click on links in texts sent to you by unknown parties.
  • Block suspicious numbers. Your cell phone provider may be able to block numbers where the texts and calls originate.
  • Your bank is texting you? Look up its number yourself — don’t trust the one provided in the text — and call.
  • Don’t store credit card and account login information in emails or notes on the phone.
  • Set your phone to time out and lock after a short period. If it’s stolen, thieves won’t get personal information.
  • Install updates. When you receive a bona fide notification of an upgrade to your phone’s software, install it immediately. If you doubt the message is legitimate, call your cell or app provider.

Don’t Stop at SEO

Don’t Stop at SEO

Don't Stop At SEO by Natalie MacLees

Don't Stop At SEO by Natalie MacLees

Hands-down, I think the most common request I get when either building someone a new site or updating an old one is to make sure the site is Search Engine Optimized (SEO). It can’t be denied – Search Engine Optimization is important. So important, in fact, that Purple Pen Productions includes Search Engine Optimization in every project that we do.

But, Search Engine Optimization isn’t everything you can do to promote your site. SEO is just the beginning. Don’t spend a bunch of money and time on building a SEO site only to let it lie unused without much traffic. Here are some other important strategies for promoting your site and getting traffic.

Local Tools

People are relying on the internet more and more to help them find local businesses – restaurants, hair stylists, pet sitters, etc. Make sure you’re easy to find. Both Google and Yahoo offer easy ways to list your business on their maps so that customers searching your neighborhood for your business will find you.

Social Profiles

Chances are, you’ve got a number of public profiles with social networking sites – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. Make sure your web site is mentioned in all of your public profiles. Make it easy to get to your site when someone finds you online.

Participate in the Community

No matter what topic you’re interested in or what business you’re in, I can practically guarantee that there’s a thriving blog community around it. Use blog search tools like Google Blog Search to find blogs in your area of interest. Head over and read the articles posted. When appropriate, leave professional, respectful comments. Comments left on other blogs can nearly always be set up to link back to your own site. If the other faithful readers like what you have to say, you can be sure they’ll follow your link and check out your site. The bonus is that you already know they’re interested in the topic.

You can also participate by having a professional blog of your own, either as your business web site, or as a part of your business web site. If you’re not much of a writer yourself, you can hire either a copywriter to write your articles for you, or you can hire a copy editor to take your notes and rough drafts and turn them into polished articles.

Traditional Media

Just because we’re in the midst of a web revolution, don’t discount traditional media. If you do any kind of advertising – television commercials, radio spots, newspaper or magazine ads, etc. – be sure that you’re always mentioning your web site address. People who want a little more information will have an easy way to find out more about you without being worried about being intimidated by a sales pitch. Also, make sure that anything you print for your business, from business cards to catalogs and brochures, has your web address printed on it.

Email Signature

No matter how you handle your email, there’s a way to program a signature automatically to the bottom of your emails. For your professional email, make sure this includes all the relevant contact information for your business along with, you guessed it, your web address.

Newsletter

Many businesses create a free email newsletter for their customers and potential customers. To encourage people to sign up, ask them to sign up in person when they visit your business or make a free online offer for those that sign up from your web site. Be clear about what people can expect when they sign up – will you email updates, new product information, coupons and deals? How often?

Once you’ve built an email list to send your newsletter to, be respectful. If you said you’d send out newsletters once a month, don’t start sending daily emails. Don’t add people to your list without their permission.

In Conclusion – Don’t Stop at SEO

No one can deny that Search Engine Optimization is important, but don’t forget that it’s not the be-all and end-all of driving traffic to your site and getting new customers. SEO-only strategies fall short because they market only to the people who are already looking for you. Of course it’s important that those customers find you, but it’s even more important to get your message out to the customers who don’t even know you exist yet. Look for new opportunities to promote your site and business – you’ll find them nearly everywhere you look.

SEO Tips – “The How To”

How do you create new pages for each of your ecommerce products?

For SEO Tip #1 we are going to concentrate on what’s commonly called “On Page Optimization” or “On Site Optimization”. Don’t worry I made these SEO Tips easy!

There are four basic elements to a page that needs to be concentrated on to attract Search Engines to display your pages in the “Search Results”.

  • Title Tags
  • Meta Tags
  • Page Title
  • Body content

How To Write Title Tags?

Title tags are the first thing your web searchers will see and they are going to become one of the most important factors to Search Engines in the beginning. Title Tags need to be relevant and written in less than 70 characters to display correctly within most Search Engines. But more importantly they need to be written to match what is going to be in our “Meta Tags” “Page Title” and “Body Content”. Make sure to use a Title Tag that is 100% relative to the product that we want displayed in the Search Engines. Use the Product Name, Product Model Number and if your wanting to sell this product locally use the city and state that the product is located in.

How To Write “Meta Tags”

Meta Tags used to be a lot more important than in today’s world. BUT… they still carry a lot of weight when used correctly. The “Meta Tag” call the “Description Tag” is a huge ranking factor, but only when used correctly. Meta Description Tags are a chance for you to describe your product and web searchers a very likely to read these in the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). So you need to write these for both “Real People” and “Search Engines”. Most Search Engines only give you a 170 Characters to describe your page and what a web searcher (“Real Person”) will find on your page. You need to make sure your “Meta Description” matches what is in your “Title Tag”, “Page Title” and “Body Content”. Make sure to include your Product Name, Product Model Number and a brief description. If your wanting to sell this product locally use the city and state that the product is located in. Sounds like a repeat right? But it’s important and again “MAKE SURE” your “Meta Description Tag” matches your “Title Tag”, “Page Title” and “Body Content”. Of course you’re going to use your most important keywords.

How To Write a “Page Title”

Commonly known as an “H1 Tag” carries a tremendous amount of weight to your “On Page Optimization”. Essentially you are telling Search Engines What your page is all about. There are multiple “H Tags” ranging from “H1 to H6″, each defining what a page is about and what a section of a page is about. Just like I mentioned about “Title Tags” and “Meta Tags”, your “H1 Page Title Tag” must match what is mentioned in your “Title Tags”, “Meta Tags” and “Body Content” to receive the most value. Don’t forget to use your most important keywords in your H1 Page Title Tag!

How To Write “Body Content”

“Body Content” is the content that you are going to place on your “Product Page”. This is going to be read by everybody who visits your page. Not only read by “Real People” but read by “Spider Bots“. This is where you must make everything come together. Your most important keywords must be within the “Body Content” on your page! Here is where “Keyword Density is going to play a big role. “Keyword Density” is used like percentage scoring. For every 100 words, each time you use your keyword is 1%. If your body content has 100 words and you use your keyword 5 times, your body content has a keyword density of 5%. The ideal “Keyword Density” should be 3.5% to 5%. Anything over 5% could be considered to be spammy to “Spider Bots”, not just Spider Bots but people too. Just like I explained previously, your “Body Content” must match your “Title Tag”, “Meta Tags” and “Page Title”.

Be very creative and unique with your content. Do your best to stay away from duplicating content that is on other website! Google does not have a “Duplicate Content Penalty”, Google does have a “Duplicate Content Filter”. Stay away from duplicate content! “Create Unique Content” to every product you are selling on your site.
